Nursery Rhyme Time School Holiday Fun!!

Nursery Rhymes in the Storybook Garden: 10.30am – 11.30am From 10.30- 11.30am, children will be able to listen to some of their favourite nursery rhymes in the Storybook Garden. A nursery rhyme character will lead them through tales such as Baa Baa Black Sheep as well as allowing the children to interact through rhymes such as the Hokey Pokey and Ring a ring a rosey.
Roaming Nursery Rhyme Character: 12.00 – 1.30pm Following the Nursery Rhyme readings, a nursery character will be roaming the Storybook Garden to hand out lollies. This is a great chance for a photo.
Face painting: 10am – 2pm A face painter will be making their way around the gardens painting children’s faces with a variety of designs.
Little Red Riding Hood Puppet Show: 2.00pm Children can enjoy a brilliant puppet show from 2pm in the amphitheatre area of the gardens. Presented by Jo Jo’s Just 4 Kids, children will be told the story of little red riding hood and the big bad wolf. Set to an upbeat musical score, the traditional retelling of Little Red Riding Hood is entertaining for all ages. Two puppeteers use audience participation and comedy to help bring this age old tale alive for today’s children. Set in the ‘Red Velvet Theatre’, the show runs for 30 minutes.
