Group and Coach Information

Hunter Valley Gardens welcomes coach and social groups; whether you’re wanting to spend the day casually wandering the Gardens or would like to celebrate a special occasion such as a birthday or anniversary we can tailor Garden entry and meal packages to suit your groups needs.

You and your guests can choose to walk the gardens at your own pace or take a train ride tour where one of our experienced guides will drive you around the gardens giving commentary along the way.

You may relax in the Garden Terrace Restaurant while enjoying a casual morning or afternoon tea or perhaps a scrumptious lunch.

Before leaving make sure your group has time to visit the Garden Gate Gift Shop where they will find unique home wares and souvenirs to remind them of their visit.

Parking
Coach parking is available at The Gardens main car park subject to availability and the car park behind Aqua Golf.

Train Tours- $7.00 per adult / $5.00 per child (Available only during the day not during Christmas Lights)
Motorised Train Tours are available at $7.00 per Adult and $5.00 per child and are provided by our experienced Visitor Services staff. The 40 minute continuous tour aboard the "HVG Express" complete with a full commentary and is a very interesting and informative way to cover a large portion of the Gardens. (Available only during the day not during Christmas Lights)

Whilst viewing the Gardens, passengers are asked not to get on and off during the tour due to time constraints.

The train departs every 45 minutes and carry a maximum of 20 people each. We recommend that you arrive at the pick up point 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time. It is advised to pre-book for the train by calling 4998 4000.

We have dedicated Staff members available to assist with your bookings to ensure your group enjoys a hassle free experience with us.

Guided Walking Tours - Price on application
Walking Tours are hosted by knowledgeable and experienced guides and are available for groups with a maximum of 25 people per guide. The tour takes 45 minutes to complete and covers various aspects of the Gardens. A cost will be provided to you on application. Where possible it would be appreciated if bookings can be made at least one month in advance of your visit and selected available dates apply.

Harrigan's Irish Pub
Accommodation & Meals at Harrigan’s Irish Pub can also be arranged for your group on request. With Harrigan’s Located just next door it is very convenient for guest wanting to spend a little extra time in the Hunter Valley. www.harrigans.com.au
