This year, Hunter Valley Gardens, Australia’s largest international display gardens will host an array of fabulous fun filled events for the whole family to take pleasure in. Hunter Valley Gardens is set in the heart of Hunter Valley Wine Country and provides a fantastic location to relax and enjoy in the magnificent surroundings.

Below are the events that will take place at Hunter Valley Gardens. Further events will be announced throughout the year.

17 September - Pink High Tea

A chance to come together to support Breast Cancer awareness while also enjoying tea, wine and themed finger food.

18 September Village Vibes Markets

If you make, bake or grow it then bring it to the HVG VillageVibes Markets

While you’re here browse through out variety of specialty shops, have lunch or a snack in our restaurants and cafes and take advantage of our attractions and galleries.

1-30 September -Spring Festival of Flowers

Festival of Flowers is an event designed to immerse visitors in a visual and sensory experience they will never forget.

There are over 250,000 annuals planted throughout the Hunter Valley Gardens along with fabulous entertainment, activities, attractions, demonstrations, talks, tours and workshops.

This even provides a stunning viewing and hands on experience for all visitors.
During the Festival we will also be hosting the Pink Tea in aid of Breast Cancer.

22 September Spring Floral Designer Card Making Day

Taste of the Country invites you to the Spring Floral Designer Card Making Day

Cost Per Person is $50 and this includes: card making kits, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea

9 & 10th October 2010 - HVG Birthday

It's our birthday so come and celebrate with us! Have fun for free on the ferris wheel, jumping castle, and other amusement rides.

There will also be free birthday cake, pony rides, face painting, activities and much more.

All rides and activities are free after Garden Admission.

11 October - 14 November 2010 Rose Spectacular

Take the opportunity to see Hunter Valley Gardens blooming with over 2 million rose blooms, throughout the annual Rose Spectacular

See 35,000 rose bushes in over 125 different varieties.

The majority of the roses are grown at Hunter Valley Gardens are of the fragrant variety, after all, a rose without perfume just isn't a rose!<

11 November 2010 - 5 January 2011 Christmas Lights Spectacular

Open every night with over a million Christmas lights on show throughout designated areas of Hunter Valley Gardens.

Including special guest Santa, entertainment with food and beverages available for purchase on-site.

Also have your photo taken with Santa by a professional photographer.
